Bridge Street Park
The Bridge Street Park is a mini-park located at the eastern end of the North Pier walkway. This small park has handicap accessibility to the Pier, benches for sitting an a great view of the water.
Channel Lane Park
One of our most popular community parks, the Channel Lane Park (200 Channel Lane) is located adjacent to the North Pier walkway and a stones through to the beach. The park has a handicap accessible facility with a 20-space parking lot, restrooms, bike racks and a picnic area. The picnic area includes benches, tables, grills and two picnic pavilions, one of which is available for rent. Village Third Street Park
The Village Third Street Park also known as the Shopper's Dock is a landscaped mini-park located on the west end of Third Street on Pentwater Lake. The area provides temporary seawall docking with tie-up spaces for small boats. The park also includes a picnic table, benches and is enjoy by many residents and visitors as a lake viewing area.
Chester Street Park
Another area mini-park is Chester Street Park located at the eastern end of the South Pier walkway. The park is a popular walking area for lake and sunset views.
There are many recreational areas throughout the Village for resident and visitor entertainment,. Among them are Charles Mears State Park, the Village Tennis Courts, and the Village Ice Skating Rink and Horseshoe Pits.
Charles Mears State Park
Established in 1923, Charles Mears State Park is a 50-acre regional park facility situated on the shores of Lake Michigan in the Village of Pentwater. The Park includes 175 camping sites, a hiking trail and access to 1700 feet of sandy beach. Also located at the Park is a playground, fishing pier, a picnic area and a beach concession building. Many residents and visitors spend the day walking the piers, enjoying the sun, swimming and playing beach volleyball. The Park is also host to weekly nature programs that start in the spring and continue throughout the summer.
The Village Tennis Courts
The Village Tennis Courts is a community park located on the north end of the Village that contains a picnic area, basketball court and two tennis courts.
The Village Ice Skating Rink and Horseshoe Pit
The Village Ice Skating Rink is located adjacent to the Township Library on Park Street, and has been used by skating and hockey enthusiasts throughout the winter. There are nine recreational horseshoe pits located adjacent to the Pentwater Fire Building that is also located on Park Street,
