Pure Michigan Small Business Relief Initiative
The Michigan Strategic Fund recently approved a $10 million statewide grant program to help meet the urgent needs of small businesses disproportionately impacted the COVID-19 virus, including restaurants and bars, lodging providers, live event venues and movie theaters, conference and meeting facilities, indoor recreation facilities, and gyms and fitness centers. The Pure Michigan Small Business Relief Initiative will utilize federal CARES Act funding to award grants of up to $15,000 to small businesses across Michigan, with applications available beginning December 15, 2020.
PLEASE NOTE: There will not be local county administration of this funding as in past MI Small Business Relief grant funding rounds. There will be $1.3M available to the 13 counties in Region 4 on a first come, first serve basis, so applying as soon as the round opens will be necessary for an opportunity to receive the limited funds.
